Phoenix AZ Light RailOctober ridership numbers for Phoenix light rail have been announced and it looks like METRO is a hit with residents of the greater Phoenix area.  October was an all time high for ridership numbers on the METRO.  Month over month, ridership on Phoenix light rail increased by 70,000 riders to a new all time high of 1,124,924 riders which averages out to about 40,772 people per day on weekdays.  October also had the highest one day ridership of 50,262 riders on October 2, which exceeded the previous record on May 13, 2009 when President Obama spoke at the Arizona State spring commencement.

Tempe Orbit BusArizona State students have a number of great options for getting around Phoenix and Tempe.  We have discussed all of the great advantages of living in apartments near Phoenix light rail and taking your bike with you on the light rail.  Taking a bike with you on the light rail is a great way to get around Tempe when you are at the Arizona State campus, but what if you need to get a little bit further?  Enter the Tempe Orbit Bus.  This system combined with Phoenix light rail offers a public transportation system covering much of the greater Phoenix area for $40 per semester or $80 for a full year for currently enrolled Arizona State Students.

Phoenix Tempe RestaurantsFinding great spots to dine in Phoenix and Tempe is hard.  Not because there is a lack of great Phoenix or tempe restaurants, it’s because there are too many choices.  The good news is that we have added a useful new section on our site for our resident’s to share their favorite spots and then they can report back and tell each other how they liked their recommendations.   Just go to the Apartments Phoenix Resident Corner and you can choose phoenix restaurants or Tempe Restaurants, from there you just choose your favorite style of cuisine.  If there is a style that is not included that you think should be added, let your manager know and we will add an additional section.  We have used American Restaurants as a broad catch all for hamburger spots, diners and traditional home-style restaurants.
