Help Haiti Earthquake Victims
Tuesday, January 19 2010 16:09
Our deepest sympathies go out to the people of Haiti following the devastating 7.0 earthquake on January 12, 2010. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of victims of this natural disaster and to the people of Haiti who are suffering with little or no medical attention and lack food, water and basic necessities. The capital city of Port-Au-Prince has been almost totally destroyed. Estimates of casualties vary from 100,000-200,000 and at least 1.5 million Haitians are now homeless.
In response to this event, Boulder Creek Apartments will include Haiti Relief in our charity referral program and contribute $100 to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund for every new tenant signing a 1 year lease who mentions this program. Interested tenants should mention the Haiti Relief program when they contact or tour the property. We have several similar programs as part of out charity referral program, so it is important to mention the Haiti Relief Program sometime before signing a lease to specify that a donation is made specifically to this cause.
Boulder Creek Apartments’ charity referral program allows renters to contribute to a cause of their choice when renting a new apartment. The American Red Cross was chosen based on their solid history and the ability to designate donated funds specifically to the relief efforts in Haiti. Thousands of American Red Cross personnel are already in Haiti assisting victims of this tragedy and more American Red Cross Disaster management specialists are on their way.
In addition our company’s management has agreed to match donations by current residents of up to $25 per apartment with proof of residents’ donation to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund. If you are a current resident of Boulder Creek Apartments and bring proof of your donation to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund and we will match it up to $25 per resident.
